Green woodwork involves making simple implements and furniture from freshly cut unseasoned wood. Participants choose and harvest their own green wood from a forest for their projects using the traditional forestry technique of horse logging, and are free to take their works home as a unique memento of their visit.
After the workshop, participants can use the spoons they make during the session to try a renowned local dessert (baked Nanae-grown apples topped with ice cream produced in the Lake Onuma area), and can observe the management of a Paard Musée-developed forest where people and horses work together.
